As a professional user, you can decide how and when you want to be notified about new referrals, expiring resources, and more.
To set up your notification preferences, watch the below video. If you prefer a step-by-step guide, scroll below for directions.
1. Navigate to your account settings by selecting your Name in the top-right corner.
2. Select whether you would like to Receive Alerts Via SMS Texting, Receive Alerts Via Email, or both.
3. If you select to receive notifications via email, the default setting is to receive emails individually throughout the day, when an action triggers an alert.
4. If you are going to be out of office or otherwise need to pause your notifications, you can Pause Alerts. Simply select an end date for your pausing of SMS messages and emails
5. Configure your Default Alert Types as desired. Note that options may differ from what is shown below. At minimum, we recommend selecting either Community Catalog Referral Received - All or Community Catalog Referral Received - Point of Contact to receive alerts when a referral is made to your location.
6. Set up a Custom Alert by selecting Add New Custom Alert. We recommend adding an alert for Referral Status Alert - Outgoing to receive a notification if one of your outgoing referrals does not receive a response within 3 days.
7. Click Save to save your notification settings. You can always return to this page to adjust your setting as needed! If you do not save your settings, you will not have successfully enabled your alerts.
For more information on alert types, see below:
- Community Catalog/Resources Referral Received - All (Alert is for all Community Catalog Referrals Received at the user's location(s))
- Expiring Referral Resource (Owner/Creator of Referral Resource will receive an alert 2 days prior to the resource expiring so they can act accordingly)
- Community Catalog/Resources Referral Received - Point of Contact (Users designated as a Point of Contact for referral resource will receive alert)
