Adding referral categories to the Community Catalog

This is how to categorize the resource offerings.  Currently, the “Parent Categories” are aligned with the AEBG instructional programs plus a “Services and Additional Assistance” category. For DC, the "Parent Categories" are aligned with WIOA.

To Add a referral category to the Community Catalog:

1. Log in to CommunityPro and select the User and Content Settings gearshift icon in the menu bar on the top right corner of the screen.
2. Under Admin Workspace go to the Community Catalog section and click on Referral Categories.
3. Click on Create Referral Category.
4. Enter the Referral Sub Category Name, choose the Parent Category the Sub Category you are creating should go under, and if desired, a Reference Link and URL and select Create.

Note: Making changes to referral categories will impact all locations.
