How to take the Career Clusters Survey
Begin by accessing the survey through the Tools menu or Step within ‘Find careers I will love’. The survey will go through three pages of options. Select activities you like, words that describe you best and school subjects you enjoy. At the end of each page, click “Next”.
Once you’ve gone through all pages, you’ll be taken to your results. Here you can see your top three clusters highlighted and a summary of your interests. A cluster is a group of careers which all share common features and require similar skills. Chances are if you like one job within a cluster, other jobs in that cluster will also interest you. Career Clusters help you to focus on the needed skills, competencies and knowledge for your education or career plan. There are sixteen total career clusters spanning all industries. You can save clusters to your profile and link to careers available in that cluster for further exploration.
Happy surveying!
