Professionals | How to change your location on the Professional Portal

All 9 Career Centers in the City of Detroit at represented in My Career Journey. Job seekers can associate themselves with their preferred Career Center. This becomes their Primary Location. If a job seeker does not have a preferred Career Center, they can choose "My Detroit at Work Career Center." All Professionals in Detroit at Work have access to this location.

In addition, Professional users are given access to the Career Center where they work. You can toggle between your Career Center and My Detroit at Work Career Center as needed. You can also have "All of My Locations" selected if needed. 

Follow these steps to change your location:

1. Click the name of your location to change your location.
2. Then, select the locations that you are looking for.
3. Click the Update Current Location to finish your selection.
